He provided me with eight healthy, gorgeous Speckled Jubilee Orpingtons and has been a constant resource for advice on housing and care. He’s patient, professional, and someone I trust completely with the health of my flock. Highly recommended for both seasoned keepers and beginners!

We were referred to Jake a few years ago after a bear attacked our chickens and we lost our son’s favorite Cochin. Even though Jake did not know us at the time, he immediately stepped in to do everything he could to get us some new Cochins (which are apparently not easy to find). When we showed up at his farm, he also took an hour out of his day to let the kids check out all his animals, taking the time to explain each bird and letting the kids pet some too. Since then, we have been back every year and always look forward to our time with Jake! The birds we have gotten from him are SO beautiful with great temperaments. Thanks Jake for all that you do!

I got jubilee orpingtons and standard size cochins from Jake and they are absolutely gorgeous birds. They are huge, so sweet and healthy birds. One came injured /sick and I told him right when I got home and Jake was really upset as he takes great pride in his birds / chicks he really wants to put out healthy sturdy birds. The chick passed and he absolutely took care of replacing the chick and add an extra.
I highly recommend Jake and the quality of his birds are outstanding.

I was looking for bantams for my 7 year old grandson for his first 4-H project. Jake contacted me and said he had Bantam Buckeye pullets and they were a friendly, easy to handle birds. He was right! We couldn't be happier with our lady "Big Booty Loretta" As a gorgeous representation of her breed, anyone who purchases from Jake should feel confident that they are getting beautiful, well bred and healthy birds.
I reached back out to Jake and asked to be put on his wait-list for more birds not long after hatching eggs from him. We are excited to add more of his birds to our flock in the future.
